Planter of Ridgeland, SC.; her siblings, Jerry Johnson (Melinda) of Burlington, NC, Sandra Edwards (Carroll) of Liberty, NC, Linda Johnson of Burlington, Bernard Johnson of Greensboro, Randy Johnson (Debra) of McLeansville, NC and Ray Woody of Roxboro, NC.; her grandchildren, Aniya of Charlotte, NC, Alijah of Charlotte, NC and Aleaha Hawkins of Charlotte, NC; her aunt Virginia Mack of Burlington, NC; and her close friend Angela Mercer of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, former colleagues, friends, and sorority sisters.
