Brenda Gail Cheek Barber Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Cheek Barber of Whitsett, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Cheek and Ruth Rogers; her stepfather Leroy Rogers; and her sisters, Jeanette McAdams and Virginia Franklin.
She is survived by: her husband Carlton Eric Barber; her sibling's children, Billie Barber (Harmon) of Elon, Melissa Porter of Graham, Lisa Lones of Florida and Barney Lones of Burlington; and her siblings-in-law, Chris Barber of McLeansville, Gary Barber of Burlington and Lisa Shelton (Barry) of Gibsonville.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Springwood Presbyterian Church (1422 Springwood Church Rd, Burlington, NC 27215).
