He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward Simmons and Jewel Stinson Webster; and his siblings, Loretta Simmons and Robert Simmons, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his siblings, Norma Williams (Randy) and Howard Simmons, Sr. (Marie); his half-siblings, Jennifer Simmons and Dale Simmons; and his nieces and nephews, Howard Simmons, Jr., Andy Simmons, Sabrina Simmons, Brandy Statford, Mark Williams, Scott Williams, Keith Williams, Robert Simmons, Jr. and Samantha Simmons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
