Gladys Hurley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Hurley of Whitsett, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Williams and Lois Laws Williams; her son Gary Hurley Sr.; her brothers, Fred, Michael, LLoyd and Don Williams; and her great grandchild Delilah Hurley.
She is survived by: her spouse Gene Hurley; her children, Glenda Hurley, Glen Hurley (Marla) of Whitsett, Gordon Hurley (Jessie) of Julian and Michelle Somers (Alex Campos); her grandchildren, Gary Jr., David Hurley of Conway, SC, Angela Patton (Chevy) of Southport, Wesley Hurley of Fayetteville, Ryan Hurley (Sydney McDade) of Julian and Skylar Campos; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Slease, Samantha Hurley, Lilly Hurley, Jake Hurley, Chase Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Shane Shelton Jr., Shawn Shelton and Killian Patton; her siblings, Betty Crane of Boomer, Sally Miller (Ronnie) of Moravian Falls, Joe Williams of Roaring River, Bobby Williams (Stella) of Boomer and Thomas Williams of Lenior; her sister-in-law Irene Williams of Lenior; and also, Betty Lawing (Louise Joines) and Wendy Simmons. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to McConnell Road Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
