She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clyde Friddle and Hattie Clapp Friddle; her siblings, Grace Smith, Kelly Friddle and Wade Friddle; and her great grandchild Gabe Dawson.
She is survived by: her husband Roy C. Dawson; her children, Dawn Hutchens (Gene) of Whitsett and Barry Dawson (Pam) of Whitsett; her sister Shirley Vaden of Whitsett; and her grandsons, Dr. Hunter Dawson (Melissa), Tyler Dawson (Nellie) and Austin Moody (Shelby). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
