She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Clifton and Cosie Neese Greeson; her husband Charles Burton Brown; and her siblings, Leland Greeson, Wilda Greeson, Keith Greeson and Connie Greeson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Brown Hughes (Joe) of Greensboro; her grandsons, Michael Hughes (Kim) of Littleton, CO, Jason Hughes (Brooke) and Alex Hughes of Greensboro; her great grandchildren, Sadie and Jacob Hughes; her caregivers, Demetrius Miles and Teresa Adams; Shelby Jean McClean. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
