We announce the death of Carolyn Jean Pagan of Whittier, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 67. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Moore and Ruby Moore; her brother Jerry Moore; her daughter-in-law Sally Waldroup; and her former husband Horace Waldroup.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Pagan; her children, Herbert Waldroup, Matthew Waldroup (Portica) and Elizabeth Waldroup Shuler (Chris); her grandchildren, Emellina Waldroup, Kaol Fuller, Alissa Shuler, Amilia Waldroup, Lucas Shuler and Coy Waldroup; her brothers, Gary Moore and Billy Joe Moore; and her friend Maleigha Elliott.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bryant-Grant Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Franklin, NC 28734).
