He was predeceased by: his parents, Conley Nations and Fay Messer Nations; and his grandmother Lola Wike. He is survived by: his brother Delos Nations of Whittier; his niece Tammy Justice (James) of Whittier; and his cousins, Jolene Fox (Jody) and Mildred Parris. He is also survived by two great nieces and a great nephew, and a host of other cousins.
