It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ward Sutton of Whittier, North Carolina, born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Hardy and Margie Cooper Ward. She is survived by : her sons, Eddie Monteith and Tommy Sutton (Robbie); her sister Shirley Elders (Charles); her grandsons, Christopher Monteith, Michael Monteith, Ryder Sutton and Lincoln Sutton; and her nephew Dewayne Elders.
