He is survived by: his wife Julia Briggs; and his children, Shawn Briggs and Nikki Cooper. He is also survived by grandchildren; and three precious great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Long House Funeral Home (407 Wolftown Road, Cherokee, NC 28719). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
