He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Roberts and Glennie Roberts of Bryson City; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Laverne; his siblings, Thomas Roberts (Ruth Ann) of Monroe, Edward Roberts (Majetta) of Waynesville and Carol Bradley (Hamm) of Cherokee; his stepson Greg Bennett (Allison); and his grandchildren, Avery and Grayson Bennett of Germantown, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
