She was predeceased by: her father Phillip "Mark" Shepherd; and her grandparents, Grace Miller Mills and Jack Dancy. She is survived by: her mother Deborah J. Dancy of Millers Creek; her sisters, Allison Dancy of Millers Creek and Brittany Williams of Hays; her siblings' children, Skyler Teague of Virginia, Scarlett Dancy of Millers Creek, Tristen Dancy of Millers Creek, Michael Dancy of McGrady and Joseph M. Johnson of Wilkesboro; her uncles, Larry Dancy (Marilyn) of High Point and Phillip Dancy (Julia) of Mt. Pleasant; and her stepfather David Burgess of Mulberry.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
