He is survived by: his grandparents, Tom, Brenda Roe, George and Lillian Smith; his parents, Loretta Adams and Shawn Roe; his siblings, Kenneth Medley (Stephanie), Matthew Medley (Amy), Crystal Medley (Deven), Nick Adams, Drew Sturgill and Mason Brinegar; his uncles, Jason, Randy, Doug Smith and Steven Roe (Nicole, family: Danny Roe, Mark Roe, David Roe, Michael Roe); his cousin Dustin Roe (Ashley); his siblings' children, Hunter Medley, Easton, Jayden Church, Kloe, Amara Medley, Bailey Roe, Jaxon, Jaelyn Medley, MaKinzy, Hagen and Serenity Bare; and his close friends, Dylan Johnson, Noah Krause, Tyler Brock (Johana Myers), Alan Ruiz, H. Roten and Alexis Vasquez.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Welcome Home Baptist Church (132 Welcome Home Church Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Ministries, 514 Elkin Highway, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 in memory of Cody.
