With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dallas Hamby of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Harrison and Roxie Greene Hamby; his daughter Kathy Jennings; and his siblings, Beatrice Triplett, Rose Eller, Edna Benton, Reba Triplette, Garlon Hamby, Willard Hamby and Luther Hamby.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Brewer Hamby; his children, Judy Holt (Jerry) of Rougemont, Janice Mathis (Danny) of Myrtle Beach, Susan Johnson (Heather) of Catawba, Jill Eller (Alton) of Wilkesboro and Lyndon Hamby (Rita) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Justin Hamby, Chad Mathis, Jason Mathis, Nick Brown, Gretta Eller-Billings, Corey Burkhart and Shinece Armstrong; and his sister Bennie Johnson of Millers Creek. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
