Franklin left this world on August 20, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Reason (Ruth Porter); his children, Kevin Reason (Valerie) of Boiling Springs, SC, Keith Reason (Christy) of Candler, NC, Angela Gardner (Rob) of Wendell, NC and Alica Benton (Mike) of Baton Rouge, LA.; his grandchildren-in-law, Kayla, Amelia Gardner, Justin (Samantha), Jessica Reason, Maddie, Alana, Destin, Hester Benton, Ciara and Kaden Reason; and his siblings, William Reason (Margaret) and Annie Maness. He is also survived by his family, church family and friends.
