We announce the death of Fred Gaston Crumpton of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Berekely and Rosie Averette Crumpton. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Crumpton (Ashley) of Wilkesboro and Ryan Crumpton of Graham; his siblings, John Crumpton, Jr. (Linda) of Durham and Connie Hunter of Winston Salem; and his grandchildren, Hallie Crumpton of Wilkesboro and Callaway Crumpton of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
