He is survived by: his wife Kathy Church Finley; his sons, Doug Smithey (Deana Jo Walsh) of Wilkesboro and Gerald Church of Lexington; his grandchildren, Aubrianna Rose Smithey, Russell Anderson of Jonesville, Zack Church of High Point and Seth Church of High Point; and his son Hoss.
