It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Parsons Mayes of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Walter and Mary Annie Hutchens Parsons; her husband Thomas Harold Mayes; and her daughter Sabrina Franklin. She is survived by : her granddaughters, Tamara Franklin LaMontagne (Craig) and Brittany Franklin Pendergrass (Corey); her great grandchildren, Jillian, Fisher, Elise, River, Cecilia, Shiloh, Ella Belle and Jubilee; and her son-in-law Daniel Franklin.
