She was predeceased by: her father Jack; her husband James Arthur Cox; her daughters, Sandy Skipper and Renee Anderson; her siblings, Louise Staley, Betty Mayberry, Ruth Moore, James "J. D." McLain and Sherrill McLain; and her son-in-law Eugene Love.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Love of Wilkesboro and Greg Cox (Carolyn) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Steven Cox (Brooke), Tonya Love, Angie Zimmern (Bill), Adrian Cox, Brian Cox, Mark Love (Holly), Andrew Johnson (Erica), Myranda Olson (Lars) and Nick Skipper; her great grandchildren, Jaden, James, Katie, Abby, Layla, Chloe, Huntley, Logan, Connor, Deegan, Katy and Grant; and her son-in-law Earl Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Reins - Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church (1191 Old 60, Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
