Herman Johnson Obituary
The memory of Herman Johnson of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Herman farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Herman is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wesley and Carrie Higgins Johnson; and his brother Roy Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Anderson of State Road and Jay Steven Johnson of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by two nieces, three nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cub Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (509 Moravian Falls Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
