With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackie Grimsley Davis of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2023 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Dorothy Mae Hanford Grimsley; and her sister Carole Grimsley Creekmore. She is survived by: her children, Anna Denise Shelton of Wilkesboro and William Stephen Davis (Tracy Cummins) of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Noah Shelton, Gabby Shelton, Emza Cummins-Davis and Isidore Cummins-Davis.
