She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe and Shirley McNeil Huffman; her brothers-in-law, Jeff Halsch and Wes Martin; her nephew Tim Halsch; and her niece Melissa Halsch.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin "Ed" Hugh Martin, Jr.; her children, Brittany Meredith Martin of Boomer and Edwin "Trey" Hugh Martin, III (Shelby); her grandchildren, Aven Sienna Eller and Aurora "Rory" Lynn Martin; her brothers, Hollis Huffman of Roaring River and Brian Huffman (Carol) of Millers Creek; her parents-in-law, Peggy Martin Halsch and Garrin Halsch of Wilkesboro; her siblings-in-law, Tracy Halsch (Katrina), Jeri Waddell Martin and Paul Halsch (Juli); and her nieces and nephews, Benjamin Huffman, Caleb Huffman, Caleb Hawkins (Laurence), Andrew Halsch, Eric Halsch, Rachel Minick (Ryan), Jennifer Moghadassi, Emma Logsdon (Ryan), Megan and Elise Halsch. She is also survived by five grand nieces and nephews.
