She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sears and Margaret Todd Sears; and her sister Barbara Yaeger. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Alfred Johnson of Wilkesboro; her children, Lynda Herndon (Russell) of Wilkesboro, Sandra Johnson of Burlington and James Johnson (Laurie) of Stockton, NJ; her grandchildren, Jackie Herndon (Eric Whitten) of Key West, FL, David Herndon of Newport, RI, Drew Herndon of Wilkesboro, Kelsey Johnson of Philadelphia, PA and Abigail Johnson of Stockton, NJ; and her great grandchild Jude Herndon of Wilkesboro.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scenic Memorial Gardens Chapel (545 Moravian Falls Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Scenic Memorial Gardens (545 Moravian Falls Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
