He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Jean Shew Perry; his stepfather J. C. Perry of Wilkesboro; his daughter Sherry Lynn Shew of Roaring River; his sister Emma Perry of Wilkesboro; his niece Destiny Wyatt; his nephew Eric Wyatt, II; and his great-nieces, Kaylyn Wyatt and Rosaleia Wyatt.
