It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Edward Ayers of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Wayne, Michigan, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Edward and Susan Campbell Ayers; and his daughters, Sabrina Spears and Angel Ayers. He is survived by : his children, Samantha Helms of Moravian Falls, Christopher Ayers of North Wilkesboro and Alex Ayers of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Ayers, Madison Ayers, Hannah Ayers, Dylan Helms, Finn Helms and Nicholas Spears; his sisters, DeAnna Santos of North Wilkesboro, Tina Robinson of South Carolina and Rita Alvarez of North Wilkesboro; and his friends, Larry Jarvis and Bonnie Turner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Donor's Choice.
