She was predeceased by: her parents, David Harley Minton and Edna Lucille Allen Minton; her husband William "Pete" Glass; and her siblings, Barbara Spann, Linda Butts and James "Jimmy" Minton.

She is survived by: her daughter Billie Glass Smithey (Anthony) of Wilkesboro; her granddaughter Megan Roberts (Jeremy) of North Wilkesboro; her great grandchild Ivory Roberts of North Wilkesboro; and her brothers, David "Warner" Minton (Barbara) of Moravian Falls and Jerry Minton (Debbie) of Millers Creek.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Gideons, P.O. Box 97251 Washington, DC 20090.
