He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Charles J. Pool and Cordia Mae Campbell Pool; his wife Louise Yates Poole; and his brothers, Loyd Pool, Bruce Pool and Darrell Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Cindee Poole Long (Martin) of Portsmouth, VA and Charles (Chuck); his stepsons, Robert Lee Church Jr. (Vickie) of Wilkesboro and Steven Grant Triplett (Gerri) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Jay Skinner, Kevin Skinner (Ashley), Tim Long, Jake Poole, Madelyn Poole, Brooklyn Poole, Nolan Campbell (Julianna), Owen Campbell, Kris Triplett and Ashley Church; his great grandchildren, Kenzie Skinner, Addison Skinner, Brady Skinner, Harper Campbell, Madison Grayum, Kutter Triplett and River Church; his brother Billy Pool (Lori) of Archdale; and his sister-in-law Rachel Poole of North Wilkesboro.
