He was predeceased by : his parents, Jeter Bumgarner and Nora Pierce Bumgarner; and his siblings, Clara Goforth, Lorene Vannoy, Helen Marlowe, Rachel Walker, Grace Dean Cooper, Earl Bumgarner and Wayne Bumgarner.
He is survived by : his wife Geraldine Miller Bumgarner of Wilkesboro; his son Jason Bumgarner of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Ashley Grace Bumgarner of Millers Creek and Aiden Paul Bumgarner of Millers Creek; and also Kim Bumgarner of Wilkesboro.
