He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Wesley and Carrie Higgins Johnson; and his wife Linda P. Johnson. He is survived by : his sons, Richard Johnson of Sylva, NC and Michael Johnson (Nicole) of Wilkesboro; his grandson Daegen Johnson of Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Ray Johnson, Jay Johnson, Peggy Anderson and Joann Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
