We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Roy Phillips (Wilkesboro, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Roy's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Roy's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lawrence Phillips and Annie Lois Phillips of Wilkes County; his brother Rex Phillips of Millers Creek; and his mother-in-law Ruby Thompson "Mom-Thom". He is survived by: his wife Irene Thompson; and his sister Martha Phillips Philpot (Jim) of Asheboro.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wilkesboro Baptist Church (300 W Main St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
