With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Franklin Pruitt of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Harrison and Annie Belle Richardson Pruitt; and his daughter Louanne Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Karen Pruitt; his brother Roger Pruitt (Jody) of Elkin; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Walker (Ed) of Purlear, Diane Blevins (Tony) of Lansing, Tom Sheets of Salisbury and Tim Sheets (Vickie) of Ashe County. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
