She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Ralph and Barbara Cox Bowers; her husband Rufus Calvin Wilborn; her brothers, Johnny and Mark Bowers; her stepson Chone Wilborn; and her stepgrandchildren, Aleda Wilborn and Zaynah Wilborn.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Parsons Lowe (Charlie) of North Wilkesboro; her stepson Brian Keith Wilborn (Damarie) of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Matthew Lowe of Wilkesboro, Scott Lowe (Myranda) of North Wilkesboro, Stephanie Brown (Cody) of North Wilkesboro, Raven Calloway (Hayden) of Mt. Airy, Jessica Brown (Mitchell) of Glade Valley and Megan Quidley of Fuquay Varina; and her stepgrandson Zion Keith Wilborn of Woodruff. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Damascus Baptist Church (161 Damascus Church Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
