It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stokes Pearson of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Sparks Pearson and Bessie Lee Walsh Pearson; his wife Carolyn Linney Pearson; his siblings, Josie Pearson Zimmerman and Joe Pearson; and his daughter Sylvia Pearson.

He is survived by : his children, Rebecca Pearson Lane, Robyn Pearson Berry (Bob) of Wilkesboro and Ron Pearson (Cindy) of Wilkesboro; his sister Ethel Ambrose of Little Rock, AK; his grandsons, Brandon Berry and Jordan Berry; his stepgrandson Jonathan Barnes (Kayla); and his daughters, Lyndsay and Kaleigh.
