The memory of Terry Bumgarner Sr. of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clinton Bumgarner and Ruby Rhymer Bumgarner. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Faw Bumgarner; his children, Kristy J. Bumgarner (Jim Noiles) of Bermuda Run, NC and Joseph Terry Bumgarner, Jr. (Patricia) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Kate Bumgarner, Erica Oliver, Harper Anderson, Hendrix Anderson and Leo Anderson; his sister Vickie Dancy (Mike) of Wilkesboro; his nephew Jonathan Dancy (Courtney); his brother-in-law Bobby Faw of Millers Creek; and his niece Robin Church (William).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the Bumgarner Scholarship Fund, c/o Wilkes Community College, Attn: Allison Phillips, PO Box 120, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
