He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Patton and Cornelia Whitt Patton; his brother-in-law Gary Cook; and his nephew Michael Cook. He is survived by: his wife Rosalee Jarvis Patton; his children, Andrew Patton (Beth) and Molly Patton Curry (John); his grandchildren, Olivia Johnson (Nathaniel) and Jacob Patton (Emmalyne); his sisters, Mary Ann Cook of Port St and Nancy Hall of Mt. Airy, NC; and his siblings' children, Julie Cook, Cydna Anne Hall Clifton and Chuck Hall.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilkesboro Baptist Church (300 W Main St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
