He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Patton and Cornelia Whitt Patton; his brother-in-law Gary Cook; and his nephew Michael Cook. He is survived by: his wife Rosalee Jarvis Patton; his children, Andrew Patton (Beth) and Molly Patton Curry (John); his grandchildren, Olivia Johnson (Nathaniel) and Jacob Patton (Emmalyne); his sisters, Mary Ann Cook of Port St and Nancy Hall of Mt. Airy, NC; his nieces, Julie Cook and Cydna Anne Hall Clifton; and his nephew Chuck Hall.
