He is survived by: his wife Brenda Griffin; his sons, David Griffin (Jamie) of North Wilkesboro and Ricky Griffin (Crystal) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, James Griffin, Morgan Griffin and Kendra Griffin; his great grandchild David Lee Stanley; and his sister Elva Winebarger of Wilkesboro.
