He is survived by: his wife Janice Minton Cheek; his sons, Joseph Cheek (Missy) of Murrells Inlet, SC and William Thomas Cheek (Jordan) of Yadkinville, NC; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Ryan Brush), Makayla (Noah Garland), Sydney and Madelyn; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Juliet Brush; and his siblings, Karen (Grant Souther) of Millers Creek, NC and Jody Cheek (Heather) of Shallotte, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
