He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Webster Carr Sr. and Eula Newton Carr; and his sister Dorothy Mae Johnson. He is survived by : his children, Daniel Carr III (Kim) of Durham, NC, Alesia Boney of Durham, NC, John Carr (Kristina) of Atlantic City, NC, Derrick Carr of Clinton, NC and Nakosha Manuel of Harrells, NC; his siblings, Barbara Graham of Greensboro, NC, John T. Carr (Linda) of Wilmington, NC and Allopez Carr of Greensboro; his former life partner Juanita Carr; and his close friend Elizabeth Corbett. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
