She was predeceased by: her parents, William Owen Rivenbark and Maggie Murray Rivenbark; her husband Henry Scott Kennedy; and her siblings, Lola Rivenbark, Catherine Shephard, Lillian Romanak, William Ivey Rivenbark and Cleveland Rivenbark.
She is survived by: her sons, Henry Scott Kennedy, Jr. (Brenda) of Jefferson, NC and William Franklin Kennedy (Tammy) of Willard, NC; and her granddaughters, Sherry Ramsey (Dan Marks) of Wilmington, NC and Windy O'Kelley (Scott) of Kernersville, NC..
