She is survived by: her children, Oliver Simpson, Gwen V. Simpson, Pamela Wayne, Caroline Simpson, Walter Simmons and Terrence Minatee; her siblings, Deloris Lamb, Esther Benson and Carl Walker; and her friend Vivian. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vivian Home (3012 Horse Branch Rd, Willard, NC 28478). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (4134 Piney Woods Rd, Willard, NC 28478).
