He is survived by: his mother DonnieMae Messick; his daughters, Doreen Messick and Jasmine Messick; his sisters, Clara Mae Messick and Joyce Ann Messick; and his aunts, Annie Newton, Lenora Nicholson and Vilinda Fennell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
