Barbara Conner Obituary

In loving memory of Barbara Conner of Williamston, North Carolina, who departed this world on August 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Barbara leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Red" Nelms and Elsie Huff Nelms; her brothers, John Robert Nelms, Kenneth Ray Nelms and Willard Keith Nelms; and her grandson Turner Shafer.

She is survived by: her husband James Wilbur Conner; her sister Carilon Nelms Vaughan; her children, Rodney Conner (Shelly) and Rhonda Shafer (Edward); her grandchildren, Caitlin Conner, Jerrod Conner (Brilea) and Claire Godley (Cole); and her great grandchildren, Macy Conner and Sutton Godley.
