He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Edmondson and Mamie Edmondson of Spring Green; and his brother Mack Edmondson. He is survived by : his wife Melva Wynn Edmondson; his children, Pam Darden (David), Dawn Ray, David Edmondson (Barry) and Doug Edmondson (Jodie); his siblings, Martha Howell, Gloria Peele, Russell Edmondson, Sudie Revels, Harold Edmondson, Julius Edmondson and Bobby Edmondson; and his close friend N. S. Perry.
