He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Allen and Jasper Hugh Leggett; his wife Doris Lilley Leggett; and his siblings, Bud Leggett, Stella Gray Leggett and Peggy Leggett Hathaway.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Leggett Speller (Gary) and Gary S. Leggett (Jennifer) of Williamston; his grandchildren, Stephanie S. Hardison, Stevie Speller, Josh Leggett and Jacob Brandon Leggett; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey Hardison, Kenleigh Hardison, Aubrey Speller, Dylan Speller, Brantley Speller, Rhys Leggett and Ryder Leggett. He is also survived by his children, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
