She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Brown and Napolean Brown; her husband Willie Alexander, Sr.; and her siblings, Octavis Brown, Ulysses Brown, James Willie Brown, Pearline Outerbridge and Carrie Bell.

She is survived by: her children, Willie Alexander Jones, Jr. (Bettie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Julius Jones (Mildred) of Nashville, NC and Renea Reaves (Timothy) of Knightdale, NC; her siblings, Booker T. Brown (Dorothy Anne) of Williamston, NC, Sam S. Brown, Jr. (Betty) of Danville, VA and Eva C. Hargraves of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, Betrece Conley (Keith), Ricardo Jones (Karen), Ahdionna Shoffner (Chris), Timothy Reaves (Courtney), Terence Reaves (Michael), Julius Jones, Jr. (Amanda) and Xavier Jones; and her pet Timberland Reaves. She is also survived by her many cousins and friends.
