He is survived by: his wife Paula Asbell Goodwin Schultz; his stepson Eric Goodwin (Jennifer); his stepgrandchildren, Nathan and Raeleigh of Williamston; his pets, Willa Kitty and Cane; Joyce Lee (Roy) and Billy Leggett (Linda).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bear Grass Presbyterian Church (6441 E Bear Grass Rd, Bear Grass, NC 27892).
