She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Stafford Grogan and Esther Harless Grogan; her brothers, John S. Grogan, Jr. and Richard Grogan; her children, David Batten of Plano, TX, Stephen Batten, Maggie (Rich) and Anderson of Pollocksville, NC; her grandson Anderson of Indiana; and her great grandchild Grace Anderson of Richmond, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Martin Memorial Library, Williamston.
