With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Marie Francis of Williamston, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso Salva and Jeanne Salva; and her brother James Salva. She is survived by: her husband Timothy Francis; her children, Nicholas Francis, Colleen Matson (Erik) and Lisa Jones (Alex Cox); her grandchildren, Jason Spruill of North Carolina, Selena Jones of North Carolina and Kash Cox of North Carolina; and her sister Julie DiFederico of North Carolina. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
