She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Hilton Modlin and Mary Callis Modlin; her former husband Daniel Lee Wise (Dan); her husband Mac; and her siblings, Walker Randolph Modlin, Hilda Elisabeth Modlin Collins and James Russell Modlin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane VanLandingham Hughes (Dan) of Virginia Beach, Janet VanLandingham Drinnon (Larry) of Greenville, NC and Adrienne Wise Hardy (James) of Clearwater, Florida.; her siblings, Stephen (Steve), Stephenie Modlin Viohl of Poquoson and Susan Poythress Walters (Steve) of Kitty Hawk, NC; and her sister-in-law Carole Wilson Modlin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
