She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Cartwright Cahoon and Preston Cahoon; and her grandson Brian Alligood. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Carnell; her children, Juanita Davenport (Delma), Rebecca Manning (Corey) and Ray Alligood (Charlotte); her siblings, Randy Cahoon, Teresa Swain (George) and Elaine Zimarino (Phil); her grandchildren, Tyler Davenport, Nick Davenport (Michelle), Caleb Nestor, Preston Alligood (Ashley), Samantha Alligood, Landa Alligood, Everette Carnell, Jace Carnell, Malakai Manning, Jayvion Andrews, JoAnna Harrison and Dustyn Schmelzla; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Alligood, Cylis Alligood, Kylo Anderson, Kason Goss, James Davenport, Maria Davenport, Luke Alligood, Madison Alligood, Hayden Jones and Isla McGraw.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Walker Funeral Home (414 N Haughton St, Williamston, NC 27892). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
